Warriors Defeat Brooklyn, Crowned Metro Champions

Fairview rolled to a 42-6 win over Brooklyn on Friday night to clinch the CVC Metro Championship. The victory moves the Warriors to 7-2 on the season.
Quarterback Burke Lowry led the way once again, completing 6 of 14 passes for 204 yards and four touchdowns. In the process, the senior broke his own school records for single-season passing yards and touchdown passes, marks he set just a year ago.
On the ground, LaMarcus Clark ran for 93 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries, while Graham Hewitt added 28 yards rushing. Elijah Cochran also punched in a short 2-yard touchdown run.
Lowry spread the ball around through the air, connecting with Will Allen, Savijan Harris, Cal Reis, and Rayden Fraser for touchdown receptions.
On defense, Elijah Cochran and Vinnie Rizzo played lights out at linebacker as the Warriors held Brooklyn to just 91 yards of total offense on the night.
