Senior Quartet Powers Fairview to 86–61 Win

The Fairview boys basketball team closed out the regular season in strong fashion Friday night, defeating Brookside 86-61 in front of the home crowd. The Warriors head into postseason play with a 15-7 record.

Fairview’s senior class led the way, with all four seniors finishing in double figures. Burke Lowry powered the Warriors with a double-double, scoring 25 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. Will Allen added 22 points while contributing five assists and four steals in an all-around performance.

Malik Walker was highly efficient, scoring 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting while also leading the team with seven assists and adding three blocks. Savijan Harris rounded out the senior scoring with 12 points and six rebounds.

Defensively, Kyle Farkas and Cal Reis showed great defensive effort as they battled all night against Brookside’s Mason Waechter, who finished with a game-high 26 points for the Cardinals.
