The Fairview boys basketball team continued its dominant run Saturday afternoon, rolling past Brooklyn 79-51 to secure its seventh consecutive victory and claim the outright CVC Metro championship. The Warriors improve to 10-3 overall.
Fairview set the tone early and steadily built separation behind balanced scoring and disciplined play on both ends of the floor. Burke Lowry once again led the way, pouring in a game-high 27 points, including 14 during Fairview’s decisive second quarter run. Will Allen provided an early spark, scoring 10 of his 20 points in the opening quarter to help the Warriors establish control.
Savijan Harris drew the defensive assignment on Brooklyn’s top scorer, Devin Hardwick, and delivered on both ends. Harris limited the senior to 13 points while matching him offensively with 13 of his own. Malik Walker’s steady presence helped Fairview maintain composure whenever Brooklyn attempted to speed the game up, as the senior finished with eight points and consistently made winning plays.
