Fairview Marches into West Virginia and Slays the Knights

Fairview football took a long road trip across state lines and came home with a statement victory. The Warriors closed out the regular season in West Virginia with a thrilling 56 to 41 win over Cabell Midland, finishing 8 and 2 which ties the best regular season mark in school history.

The Warriors offense put up 554 total yards, including 459 passing and 95 rushing. Quarterback Burke Lowry led the way, completing 32 of 47 passes for 459 yards and four touchdowns while adding two rushing scores.
In the run game, LaMarcus Clark carried eight times for 73 yards and two touchdowns. Lowry added 24 rushing yards on seven attempts.

Three receivers posted big performances. Will Allen finished with eight receptions for 128 yards and two touchdowns. Ray Fraser recorded five catches for 99 yards and a score. Savijan Harris added nine receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown.

Defensively, Fairview totaled five tackles for loss and two sacks, one each from Vinnie Rizzo and Clark. The Warriors forced two fumbles and came up with three fourth down stops against a Cabell Midland team that featured a strong rushing attack.
