Fairview Football Dominates All-CVC Selections with 16 Honorees

The Fairview Warriors football team continues to make history, this time with 16 players earning All-Chagrin Valley Conference Metro Division honors following a record-breaking season that included a conference championship and the program’s first-ever playoff victory.

Senior quarterback Burke Lowry led the way, being named the CVC Metro Division Offensive MVP after rewriting the school record book and guiding one of the area’s most explosive offenses. Lowry was also selected to the First Team Offense, joined by junior running back LaMarcus Clark, senior wide receiver Will Allen, and offensive linemen Danny O’Neil and Tyler Zellmer. Junior wideout Cal Reis earned Second Team Offense, while senior lineman Liam Ginley received Honorable Mention honors.

On defense, Fairview was just as strong. Both Danny O’Neil and LaMarcus Clark were recognized on both sides of the ball, showing their impact across the field. O’Neil earned First Team Defense on the defensive line, while Clark joined linebackers Vinny Rizzo and Mason Woodworth on the First Team Defense as well. In the secondary, seniors Savijan Harris and Rayden Fraser also earned First Team recognition, rounding out a unit that played fast and physical all season. Junior Jackson Habbyshaw earned Second Team Defense for his work on the defensive line, while sophomore George McAleer received Honorable Mention Defense for his efforts at both linebacker and defensive line.

Junior kicker Kyle Farkas represented the Warriors on special teams, earning First Team honors after a reliable season handling Fairview’s kicking duties.

To top it off, head coach Sean Ranc was named the CVC Metro Division Coach of the Year after leading the Warriors to a historic season.
