Fairview Fights Through, Edges North Ridgeville 3-2

The Fairview Warriors closed out their week on a high note Thursday afternoon, grinding out a 3-2 victory over North Ridgeville behind a strong showing in singles play.

Senior Corbin Berger delivered when it mattered most. After dropping the opening set 4-6, Berger battled back in a tight second set, winning a tiebreak 7-6 before taking control in the third to secure a 6-4 win over Reuben Sarrett in second singles—clinching the match for the Warriors.

Fairview set the tone early in singles competition. Caleb Dresch earned a solid 6-3, 6-2 win in first singles, while Logan Melda added another point with a 6-2, 6-3 victory in third singles.

Both doubles teams competed with toughness, as Sean Smith and Mason Misencik, along with Gabby Herman and Ariel Shtembari, battled throughout their matches but ultimately fell in straight sets.
