The Fairview boys basketball team earned the No. 6 seed in the Ohio High School Athletic Association Northeast Division V tournament and will host the winner of No. 25 seed Lake Catholic and No. 26 seed Crestview on Saturday, February 28 at 1:00 p.m.
The Warriors claimed their third consecutive CVC Metro championship, finishing league play a perfect 10-0. Fairview has a record of 13-7 with two regular-season games remaining.
Lake Catholic has an overall record of 5-15 and is currently seventh in the North Coast Conference. Crestview sits at 7-13 on the season and ranks sixth in the Mahoning Valley Gray Conference.
Lake Catholic will host Crestview in a first-round matchup on Wednesday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m., with the winner advancing to face the Warriors.
